“Clean & Very Friendly” Reviewed 24 April 2012. Rembrandt was selected for me as it was hosting the British International Amateur Film Festival (BIAFF). Due to my error I arrived a day late but reception staff changed rooms round to accomodate me for an extra day. Room was excellent and scrupulously cleaned every day. The choice and quality of menu at all meal times excellent with helpful serving staff and waiters/waitresses. They have spa facilities. at no extra charge for residents.. I used the decent size pool where towels are provided. Against the current trend of some hotels , parking is free. Alex R.
“Would be good hotel for a family on holiday” March 2012 Stayed here on business and have to say that this hotel is very good value and just a 10 minute walk from Weymouth centre. Swimming pool and sauna .
“what a cracker” March 2012. Ive just spent a night at the Rembradt and was very impressed, i didnt have time to try the pool or spa but will do next time i stay, the place was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy, breakfast was unlimited and the staff were friendly and very helpfully. There is ample car parking on site and the area is far enough from town to avoid the noise yet only a 10 minute stroll.
“Excellent Value For Money!” March 2012. Have stayed at the Rembrandt several times over the past 5 years. Although on this occassion I have found that it has up-stepped it's mark, especially in the restaurant. The choice overall for breakfast is outstanding. I never eat breakfast at home but somehow managed to have a three course here. Brilliant variety and choice of food. I ate in the restaurant several times over the evenings and found the menu to be reasonably priced, and the food was very tasteful. A three min walk from the beach added that extra touch. Car parking was ample too. My room was superb; although I was a single traveller I was given a room with 1x double, and 1 x single bed. The room was spacious and cleanliness was second to none. Refreshment trays were topped up daily with tea, coffee and biscuits. The swimming pool was a little cool on entering but soon warmed up once I started to swim. The Jacuzzi and steam room were "heaven". Staff on reception, the pool area and in the restaurant were very friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble, people had smiles all round. On departure, I was offered free fruit for my journey home by reception staff .... what a lovely touch!! All in all, I had another amazing, affordable stay. Would recommend this hotel every yime. Well done to the Rembrandt! Kind regards, Deborah York, Leicestershire.
“Another stay in the lovely Rembrandt in Weymouth.” February 2012. We have just returned from a two night stay at the Rembrandt. We booked a special offer and could not have been happier. Friendly staff greated us on arrival and our room was lovely and warm, clean and tidy. Plenty of tea and coffee supplies with biscuits. WIFI in our room was working well, The pool and spa facilities were just what you need to warm you up after a day out sightseeing. We had breakfast most mornings and there was a good selection for us to choose from. It is self service so you can pick as much or a little as you like. This is our second visit and we would return again.
“deserves at least 3*+” February 2012. We stayed here for the last week end in january after looking for a hotel with a pool, we were not disappointed with any of the facilities and used the restaurant friday and saturday evening , the food was excellent on both nights.
“A PERFECT BREAK” January 2012. We stayed here for a weekend and i must say what an outstanding hotel this is, room was clean and had everything we needed. Receptionists were polite and very helpful and the food was outstanding. We also used the pool and jacuzzi and again found the staff polite and cheerful, bar staff were also great as were the restaurant staff. Will definately be using this hotel for future stays in Weymouth.
“Wonderful weekend” January 2012. My wife and I had a weekend break here in January and were very pleased with what we found. . The hotel was clean and with nice sized rooms, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The facilities couldn`t be faulted, the pool was a good size and coupled with the gym, steam room and sauna, all in all we were very happy. The food was nice, a good selection at breakfast and although we didn`t eat there in the evening we heard good reports about the restaurant especially the carvery. I can thoroughly recommend a stay here.
